Much to our surprise we have settled back into caravan life nicely, who would off thought after sleeping in nice comfy beds that we could go back to our humble little residence. Alas it's only for a short while as we are super keen to get home to our new house, family and friends. We have travelled from Byron Bay where we had a nice rest, a stay at Tamworth and then down to Sydney on the New England Highway. We went through some beautiful little towns which we will definitely make it back to some day. While in Sydney we stayed at the Narrabeen caravan park which was around 24km from town. There was a great little lake that runs out into the ocean and it was a very popular spot.
We didn't come back to great weather, the lighthouse lookout at Byron Bay.
The beautiful beaches at Byron Bay.
An overnight stop in Tamworth so we could see the Golden guitar. "Where's the strings?"
The lovely beach and lake, at Narrabeen.
And the biggest surprise of all, meeting our friends Bernie and Penny in Sydney, we could not have timed that better if we tried. The girls just so happened to be in Sydney for the weekend. What luck! We made our way down to the rocks market which is just near the Sydney Harbour Bridge to meet up with them. We then had a great lunch together before continuing on our way to check out the sights of Sydney. Thanks guys that was really special, see you at home!
Coffee like old times.
